Beginner Lesson

Beginner lessons are perfect if you’ve never been on a horse before or you’ve taken a break from horse riding and are nervous and unsure of how to get back on and where to start. As a beginner you will learn about how to hold the reins, position your leg, and how to use your body to communicate effectively with your horse. You’ll learn to maintain a stable and confident seat and riding position during different paces which is essential before moving up to Novice. This is a great class to take where you’re well looked after and you work through the basics learning how to walk independently, trot, stop, steer and maybe begin to work up to a canter. Beginner lessons can also be great for those who have ridden in a different discipline and are new to English riding and looking for a primer!
