Intramural Sport

What is it?

The Intramural Sport Program is an affordable and social way to participate in sport, mixed in with some competition. Whilst being the largest Intramural Sport program in Scotland, it offers a more relaxed alternative to club sport and is open to anyone.

The Sports Union currently offers 10 sports as part of the Intramural Program. Each sport has leagues with weekly fixtures, which are filled with teams associated to halls of residence, societies, subject schools, sports clubs or just groups of friends. Fixtures in each league are played on a designated day of the week, apart from Volleyball which has regular tournaments. You can find out which sports are part of the program, and which days each league plays on, in the 'choose a sport' page below.

An opportunity to

Start playing a new sport - it is beginner friendly! Continue playing sport with less commitment, meet new people, make friends and be active!

How do I get involved?

Join a team affiliated to your halls, school, society or a group of friends. If you are looking to join a team, fill out an interest form in the 'find a team' section below and we will be in touch with you. Alternatively, if you would like to set up a team yourselves, look in the 'create a team' section for more information.
