Congratulations to the last 2019 CVA MotM, Abi Plowman, who was awarded in November for her organisational work with the Braid Hills Race.

Abi Plowman

Abi received November's CVA MotM award for her amazing work in organising the Braid Hills Race, hosted by the university running club. The race saw over 500 runners compete and required many months of preparation. Abi's work included advertising the race, arranging entries, setting up the course and marshals, processing the results and even finding accommodation for all the athletes who travelled from other universities! The race is a highlight in the calendar of many clubs and members of the Edinburgh running community, and it wouldn’t have been such a success without all of Abi's brilliant efforts.
