Baseball Club

What we do

EUBSC is comprised of a Baseball team and Soft-pitch Softball team (Members are welcome to play for one or both). We practice to play games and win them. If this interests you, join us! We don't care about prior experience/skill-level, we just want you to have fun getting better at baseball and/or softball.

Training

We train 3 times a week throughout the academic year:

• General Practice - Wednesdays and Saturdays 2-4pm @Warriston Recreation Field (entrance via Warriston Crescent)
• Batting Cage Hitting/Live At-Bats - Mondays (Time TBD) @Peffermill Playing Fields

Games

• The baseball team competes in the BUCS Northern Division with 6 regular season games, 3 at home and 3 away.

• The softball team competes in the BUCS Northern Division at 4 away tournaments, each featuring around 5 games. 

• For both sports, qualification in the regular season will earn a spot at the BUCS National Championship @The National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park in May.

Our Story

The club was established in 2023 by Blane Heerey, our current head coach. Since then our baseball team has had back-to-back appearances at the BUCS national championship, including a semi-final run in the 2023/24 season. 2025/26 sees the exciting addition of the new softball team.

Our Values

We are built on three core principles:

3. Inclusivity - We welcome all those who share the first two principles, regardless of gender, experience, or skill level.
