Formed in 1926, Edinburgh University Women's Lacrosse Club is one of the largest lacrosse clubs in the UK, with a total of four teams competing in BUCS, a growing beginners programme, and a mixed recreational team. The club plays in BUCS matches on Wednesdays and competes in the Scottish League on weekends. Training frequency and timings vary between teams, so there's a commitment level right for everyone!
Beyond our success on the field, the club also offers a great social calendar. We host weekly social events, with highlights including the annual Christmas Curry and the Lacrosse Ball.
We warmly welcome players of all abilities, including semester exchange students from around the world. Don’t hesitate to reach out — we would love to have you join us!
We look forward to meeting you during Welcome Week. Be sure to visit us at the Sports Fair! For more information check out our Instagram, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
CONTACT: If you have any questions with regards to getting involved with the club then e-mail us on lacrosse@ed.ac.uk.
