The Edinburgh University Shinty Club is committed to introducing people to the magic of shinty; a high speed and full contact game that also happens to be one of Scotland’s oldest national sports.
We’re a very beginner-friendly club that welcome members with any level of ability. It’s an amazing way to meet new people, with training every Wednesday, mixed socials every Thursday, and even the occasional ceilidh.
Both our men’s and women’s teams have seen considerable success in the past years, and we’re keen to continue building on this in 2020! So, if you’re interested in becoming a part of the shinty family, or have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
